I haven't talked about skincare in a while and I really enjoy testing out new brands and products when it comes to my skincare routine. I thought it was time to do an updated post about my routine during the colder months.

Glossier cleanser - I have reviewed the glossier phase 1 set and I have to say my thoughts on this cleanser have only gotten better with time. Read that review here. One of my favourite things about this cleanser is that it doesn't irritate the skin around my eyes, which a lot of cleansers do, so I can use this to remove all my make up in one simple step. It's great for sensitive skin but still removes all makeup and oils from the skin which is perfect!

Formula 10.0.6 exfoliator - I haven't been using physical exfoliators so much since I started using chemical exfoliators but every now and then its really good for your skin to have a really deep exfoliate. This formula 10.0.6 is one of my favourites as it smells really fruity and fresh and makes my skin feel really deeply cleansed without being too harsh.

Nip and fab exfoliator pads - these pads are the only product I have tried from Nip and Fab but I was seriously impressed the first time I used them. I first discovered them before I went on holiday but I have been using them religiously ever since.

They make exfoliating so much easier  and faster and they leave my skin feeling really clean. I often use them in the morning to freshen my face and remove any oils, but they are also really good to remove any last bits of make up. I don't have loads of experience using chemcial exfoliators but this has really impressed me! Another reason I love them is that they do such a good job but they aren't too harsh on my sensitive skin. I would love to try the Pixi glow tonic which I think is a similar product, but I can't imagine not having them in my skincare routine now.

Superdrug Vitamin E moisturiser - this moisturiser is so lovely and really affordable! I bought it because I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a moisturiser and this was the best affordable moisturiser that I could find. I love the coconut scent and its really hydrating and nourishing which is perfect when its so cold outside. It's a night cream but I use it both morning and night, its very hydrating but light enough to use under make up which makes my routine much simpler.

Superdrug vitamin facial spritz - this face mist smells like oranges and I have to say Superdrug have smashed the skincare scents with these two products. This is super hydrating I love to use it when my skin feels a bit dry or dull both before or after make up. I have also been using it to dampen my make up sponges, its much more refreshing than dampening them with water and it gives you that extra boost of hydration. It keeps the application of foundation and concealer really fresh looking and it was very cheap for a face spray so I don't mind being liberal with it on a make up sponge.

I have recently bought some Mario Badescu face sprays which I am testing out, I will report back once I have made up my mind on them.
