THE BODY SHOP HAUL

I recently did a little order from The Body Shop and I thought I would share my purchases and what I think of the products. I love The Body Shop and can always rely on their products to look after my skin, as they have a skincare range for everyone!

Zesty lemon shower gel

The Body Shop always release seasonal ranges and this Summer they have a lemon range and a cucumber range. I decided not to try anything from the cucumber range because it's a scent I think I would like to smell before I buy, and I thought lemon is something everyone loves and after using it I really do love it!

I also think the packaging for this range is so cute with the purple and yellow images. Also with my order I got a free wash bag in this cute print with lemons and cucumbers which is a really big wash bag, great for fitting all my products in when going away!

Tea tree body wash

I have used a lot of products from the tea tree range and this shower gel is something I repeatedly buy. I switch between this one and the original source tea tree shower gel. However, The Body Shop shower gel has a stronger scent and I do prefer it, despite it being slightly more expensive.

Skin defence SPF

This is a product I have purchased several times! It did go out of stock last year so I had to switch to the Vitamin E SPF they also do, but that is only factor 30. I love the skin defence because it is factor 50 so my sensitive skin feels safe once I have applied it!

It also works really nicely under make up, its quite a think consistency so it doesn't have the heavy feeling you get from some suncream. It smells great and doesn't leave your skin really oily which you don't want on a super sunny day! The 40ml is £18 which, while is quite a lot of money for a small product, is pretty good as some facial SPFs can be really expensive!

Camomile oil cleanser

I have used the cleaning balm before which I loved, and I use the eye make up remover too, as it is the only thing that doesn't irritate the sensitive skin around my eyes. But I have wanted to try an oil cleanser for a while as they are supposed to be great for breaking down make up and cleaning your skin without leaving your skin feeling super dry afterwards.

I love the feeling of using this to take away my make up and its great for a first cleanse, it feels quite nourishing whilst also cleaning the skin. I think this is great for breaking down make up, but I do feel like I need to use another cleanser afterwards so if you don't like to double cleanse then this might not be the best for you.

The Body Shop is one of my favourite skincare brands, what products do you think I should try out next? I think I might grad a few bits from the seaweed range next time I need some new products!

  7. This looks like such an amazing haul! I do love the body shop - I know there have been issues lately, but I am still all for the ethical products. The skin defense sounds great, especially as it is SPF 50! I also love the smell of tea tree, so that body wash must be divine! Thank you for sharing your haul,

    Em x

  9. My cousin has recently become a Body Shop consultant which has been soooo dangerous to my bank account! Worth it for all the gorgeous products though! I've got the Camomile Cleansing Butter which I can't recommend enough, the Aloe Foaming Cleanser, Toner and Day Cream, Shea Shower Gel, and Vitamin C Liquid Peel which is ace! My mum used to use Body Shop all the time when I was young but I always thought they were overpriced. Now I know how good the stuff is and how little you need to use each time I'm sold! x

  10. Got to love a Body Shop haul! I used to use the Camomile cleanser and while I loved it, I found the same as you that sometimes it left me feeling like I needed to double cleanse, which was a shame. I really want to try the make up remover from that range though. Great post!
